Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Commitment Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within adult critical care units including trauma, neuro, medical, cardiac, and surgical ICUs, as well as the Emergency Department
• Perform and manage advanced ventilator management techniques including esophageal balloon monitoring, PV loop interpretation, driving pressure assessment, and best PEEP maneuvers
• Operate and manage ventilators including Hamilton G5, C6, T1, MR1, Philips EV300, and INO vent platforms
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Fulfill on-call obligations as required in addition to scheduled shifts
• Participate in two call shifts per scheduling period and adhere to holiday commitment requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist License (state-required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Level 1 trauma center experience in a 400+ bed hospital setting
• Proficiency in advanced ventilator management techniques

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in critical care environments including neuro, cardiac, surgical, medical, and trauma ICUs
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR documentation
• Background working in large academic or teaching hospital environments
