Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney

Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation Associate - Hartford or New Haven, CT
Our client is a top firm, seeking a litigation associate for its growing IP and commercial litigation practice. The salary range for this position is between $180k to $210k.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of IP and commercial litigation experience, including trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes.
- Experience with all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, taking and defending depositions; attending court conferences and hearings, conducting legal research, preparing and responding to discovery, handling day-to-day case management, and participating in trial preparation.
- Experience with claims under the Lanham Act and the Copyright Act, as well as claims for common law trademark infringement, breach of contract, unfair trade practices, and breach of licensing agreements is preferred.
- Experience with TTAB disputes, as well as online trademark and copyright enforcement, including preparing takedown notices, cease and desist letters, and UDRP complaints, is a plus as well as a Judicial clerkship.
- Connecticut bar admission is required.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills; team focused.
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
