Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for an Licensed Therapist at Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida. Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females' youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling. ROP-benefits-and-perks-2 What you will do The Licensed Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy while overseeing the completion of treatment for students under their care. This may include services such as: clinical assessments service planning counseling case management record keeping service coordination with the multi-disciplinary team As the Licensed Therapist, you may document and assess the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the treatment plan objectives and goals. This position may require you to provide crisis intervention, as necessary and does require monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries of all students within your care. To be considered you should Have a Florida license as a LPC, LAC, LMSW, or LCSW Must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant field Be at least 21 years of age Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults.
