Position: Critical Care Registered Nurse

Shift: 19:00 - 07:15

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care for patients experiencing severe medical issues. The ideal candidates will be skilled in managing critical care environments, assisting patients who have suffered from heart attacks, strokes, severe trauma, respiratory distress, and other life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and evaluate patient conditions to develop and implement effective care plans.
Administer advanced life support and provide treatment for wounds.
Assist physicians during medical procedures.
Monitor and record vital signs and patient information.
Ensure the proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment, making adjustments as necessary.
Administer intravenous fluids and medications as required.
Perform suctioning and other critical interventions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Respond to life-saving situations following established nursing standards and protocols.
Act as a patient advocate and provide education and support to families.
Care for pre- and post-operative patients and participate in case management and policy-making, when applicable.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in Texas or a multi-state RN license.
Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Experience in critical care settings is preferred.
