Wellstar Vining in Smyrna, Georgia is seeking a PRN Polysomnographic Technologist. The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sleep Services or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is able to perform the duties defined for a sleep technologist and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff. The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is credentialed in sleep technology.

• Sleep Study Procedures
• Sleep Study Preparation and Set-up
• Service Management and Professional Issues

Required Minimum Education: Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to a certificate Required or Associate's Degree Required or with an emphasis in sleep technology Required or Successful completion of a sleep technology program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency for all competencies required of a sleep technologist. Required Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. Sleep Disorders Specialist or Registered Polysomnographer or Reg Sleep Technologist Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor Additional License(s) and Certification(s): A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) that possesses the Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
