Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Union City, GA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thu: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security‑related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies to appropriate contacts. Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing facility activity, reporting hazards or policy violations, and completing required incident and daily activity reports. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. X‑Ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
