Job Duties

• Craft Tailored Treatment Programs: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy plans to support them in achieving their functional milestones
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply scientifically-supported methods to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide integrated, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Share essential therapy techniques with patients and caregivers to ensure continued progress at home
• Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as needed to keep patients on their path to recovery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications

Licensure

• Current, valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
