- Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (pending credentialing)
- Providing education to patients and families regarding preventive health, wellness, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in line with your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic care
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
- Meticulously documenting in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oklahoma
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or comparable specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment coupled with a caring bedside manner
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Flexibility in fast-paced, patient-focused environments
- Proficient in EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth applications
- A cooperative approach and dedication to evidence-based care
