Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (pending credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding preventive health, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments in line with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic care
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Meticulously documenting in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Oklahoma
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or comparable specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
