Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field, National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent), and 1–2+ years recent hospital lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule:

• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (11:00 – 21:30)

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Completion of an accredited MLT or MT/MLS program
• Thorough understanding of laboratory operations, instrumentation, and safety protocols
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and quality assurance standards
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills and the capacity to collaborate within a team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and immunology
• Accurately process specimens and report precise results within established turnaround times
• Perform quality control procedures and equipment maintenance as outlined by laboratory standards
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to maintain workflow efficiency
• Document all testing and quality control activities in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and support staff to relay critical test results when necessary
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace, upholding infection prevention practices
