Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Special Procedures Area. Full time M-F, Day Shift 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (option for weekly rotation of five 8’s and four 8’s). Minimal on‑call requirements: 1 weeknight call shift every 2‑3 weeks; 1 weekend call shift every 12‑14 weekends. Salaries: USD $30.23 per hour. Max USD $48.37 per hour. The Special Procedures RN uses five procedural suites and provides diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to both inpatient and outpatients, including bronchoscopy; gastrointestinal endoscopy; motility and ph studies; breath hydrogen testing; and pill cam studies. Education ADN or BSN Licensure/Certification/Registry Licensed as RN in the state of Illinois Current BLS/CPR certification per policy Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must be able to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections.
