CT Technologist

Position Overview As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams using specialized equipment, collaborating closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results. Responsibilities Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency Verify patient identity Prepare patients Perform exams per protocols Review images for quality Adhere to radiation safety Assist in training staff and students Provide patient education Practice infection control Operate CT equipment Keep accurate records Follow protocols for documentation and equipment reporting Qualifications & Skills Require ARRT certification State licensure (if needed) BLS certification Preferred ARRT CT certification & 1+ years of CT experience Must possess strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols Skills include effective communication, teamwork, independent work, and task prioritization Physical & Other Requirements Ability to read and operate equipment Communicate effectively Lift and transfer patients Stand for extended periods Navigate busy environments Additional Details Full-time, overnight shifts, working in a healthcare setting with a competitive hourly rate.
