Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at Homewatch CareGivers of Charlotte and Mooresville provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care that supports clients' safety, comfort, and independence. CNAs deliver hands-on personal care while building trusted relationships with clients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and daily routines as outlined in the care plan
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition promptly
• Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves dignity and privacy
• Follow all Homewatch CareGivers policies, care plans, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Current, active CNA certification in the state of North Carolina
• Ability to provide hands-on care safely and professionally
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and responsive
• Commitment to respectful, client-centered care

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
