Local Class CDL Driver - Wilsonville

REIC Rentals in Wilsonville is hiring an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to deliver designated equipment as assigned and ensuring the operator is familiar with delivered equipment. Schedule M-F (no overnights and rare weekends).

As a Local Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver heavy equipment to customer sites in OR and WA state. You will be delivering designated equipment as assigned and oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment, ensure the operator is familiar with delivered equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, keep a clean truck with current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.

A typical day may include:

• Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
• Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
• Maintaining vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
• Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance

Top candidates will have:

• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required with manual transmission experience
• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience REQUIRED
• Experience in construction is preferred
• Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance
• Leaving the scene of an accident
• Committing a felony with a motor vehicle
• Reckless driving Excessive speed

Physical demands:

• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds for short periods, often several times per day
• % of workday performing, but not limited to:
• Standing 10%
• Walking 10%
• Sitting 80%

This position is classified as nonexempt.
