Job Description
Staff Accountant
\n- \n
- Responsible for managing the daily financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. \n
- Run monthly Maxio revenue reports \n
- Assist with the month-end and year- end closing process, including preparing and posting journal entries in accordance with GAAP, preparing monthly reconciliation schedules, and preparing and reviewing financial statements. \n
- Assist with preparation and filing of various tax schedules. \n
- Process vendor invoices. \n
- Assist with administering the purchasing card program, uploading receipts, and coding and posting transactions \n
- Post customer payments. \n
- Assist with preparation of the monthly reporting package \n
- Assist with analyzing revenue and expenses and identifying variances from budget \n
- Assist with various ad hoc reporting schedules and analysis. \n
- Provide support for the annual audit. \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field \n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills. \n
- Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. \n
