An AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a 3rd–5th year Medical Malpractice Associate to join its team across Tampa, Miami, or West Palm Beach. This is an excellent opportunity to work on medical malpractice and complex healthcare litigation matters within a national platform, offering strong exposure to both state and federal court proceedings. About the Role You will join a collaborative litigation team handling medical malpractice and healthcare-related disputes, working closely with experienced partners while gaining meaningful responsibility across all stages of litigation. This role is ideal for an associate looking to build trial experience and develop within a nationally recognised practice. Responsibilities Assisting in the defence of medical malpractice litigation matters Managing written and document discovery Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal filings Conducting and defending depositions Preparing witnesses for testimony Appearing at hearings, conferences, and court proceedings Supporting trial preparation and litigation strategy Collaborating with a national team on multi-jurisdictional matters Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in medical malpractice or complex litigation Strong legal writing and analytical skills Experience in state and/or federal court litigation Ability to manage workload both independently and within a team environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent academic credentials Judicial clerkship experience is preferred Required Skills JD from an ABA‑accredited law school Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar #J-18808-Ljbffr Career Legal
