Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - Stepdown for a travel assignment in Marshfield, WI. This role focuses on providing excellent intermediate care at an acute care setting. The position offers a dynamic work environment within a heavy cardiac unit, suitable for those who have a strong background in cardiology and related procedures.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide care for patients with a focus on cardiac needs, including pre/post caths and pre CABG.
• Manage a patient load with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7.
• Titrate and administer drips such as insulin, heparin, nitro, diltiazem, and lasix.
• Ensure accurate monitoring of telemetry readings.
• Collaborate effectively with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
• Possible floating to Med/Surg floors for coverage as needed.

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Active RN license with BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Tele, IMC/Stepdown nursing, with majority focused on cardiac care.
• Experience with drip administration and titration.
• Preferred experience as a travel nurse.
