Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse – PCU

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. Clinician will float between multiple units as needed.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant setting
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Experience in telemetry, cardiac telemetry, and neuro stepdown units
• Skills in cardiac monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias
• Familiarity with pre/post cardiac catheterization care, sepsis, wound care, and other critical conditions

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
