The Role:

• Location: Bay City, MI
• Assignment duration: Start 03/01/2026 - End 05/31/2026 (91 days)
• Type: Travel
• Number of positions: 1
• Specialty: Gastroenterology
• Shift Type / Call: Varied schedule - Monday 7am through Friday 7pm call. No weekend call.
• Typical Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 7am - 7am (24-hour coverage); Friday: 7am - 7pm (12-hour coverage).
• OnCall: Monday-Thursday nights.
• Weekend Description: N/A
• Required: ERCP competency required; Board Certified (or willing to review); DEA registration required.
• State License: Michigan license required. IMLC accepted only when dates are 60+ days out with proof of LOQ for IMLC.
• Support: Hospitalist support available; 2 colorectal surgeons in the community; GI clinic location less than half a mile from the hospital.
• Site/Workflow Notes: Site uses reverse billing - provider must clock in/out using Doc Time (no timesheets will be approved). NPDB self-query required at presentation (should be pulled within 30 days).
• Credentialing: Estimated 90 days.
• Travel/Lodging Policy Highlights: Car, fuel, mileage, and hotel capped per client policy (rental must be refueled before return). No lodging booked through third-party booking sites (e.g., Expedia, Kayak). Taxes on lodging are not reimbursed due to client tax-exempt status. Med staff fees are not reimbursed.

Submission / Presentation Requirements (selected):

• Michigan license (or IMLC with LOQ when applicable) - REQUIRED
• Board certification - REQUIRED (willing to review)
• ERCP credentialing/competency - REQUIRED
• DEA registration - REQUIRED at time of start
• No gaps in malpractice coverage - REQUIRED
• NPDB self-query (pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED
• Candidate contact details for presentation: home address, personal phone, personal email, DOB.
• Employee health requirements include seasonal flu vaccine (24-25 season), COVID documentation or declination, TB testing (2-step within 12 months or Quantiferon within 6 months), TB questionnaire, Hep B titer or declination, MMR immunity or vaccine record, Varicella immunity or vaccine record, and TDAP within last 10 years.
