Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Required Qualifications Candidates must meet the following requirements: Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience . Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification. Ability to work night shifts and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced emergency environment. Current resume required at the time of submission. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with the Meditech electronic medical record system. Previous travel nursing experience. Strong triage, critical thinking, communication, and emergency response skills. Unit Details Department: Emergency Department Number of Beds: 67 Total Unit Staff: Approximately 225 Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 4:1 Night Shift Staffing: 1 Supervisor, 1 Charge Nurse, multiple technicians, 1 CNA, and approximately 19 nurses at shift start.
