Make a real impact supporting K-12 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for a dynamic educational setting in Sacramento, CA. This full-time contract opportunity offers diverse experience working with children across multiple sites and provides both direct therapy and indirect support time. The position is open to credentialed SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY)—supervision is available for those looking to complete their fellowship year. Travel professionals seeking rewarding school assignments are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to unique student needs
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy and regularly document student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Attend parent conferences and team meetings, with paid administrative/indirect hours included
- Embrace opportunities to support multiple school sites, ensuring no two days are the same
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active or eligible California SLP license or credential
- Ability to pass required background and fingerprint screenings
- Experience in pediatrics, school-based settings, or teletherapy a plus
- Open to Clinical Fellows—CFY supervision provided
