IT Infrastructure Engineer

Position Summary The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of Addus’ enterprise infrastructure across over 200+ locations. This role supports core systems including network, server, virtualization, voice, and cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and performance across all sites. Work Schedule Monday – Friday (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) 4 days onsite – Lisle, IL On Call Rotation Compensation & Benefits Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 Medical, Dental and Vision Retirement (401k) PTO + Paid Holidays Life Insurance Continued Education Employee Discounts Key Responsibilities Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across WAN, LAN, and Voice, and Virtualization environments Administer Cisco network infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless) Administer Palo Alto network firewalls Manage Microsoft365 / Entra ID Support MicrosoftTeams voice and telephony (Auto Attendants, Call Queues, Operator Connect) Support Hyper‑V virtualization environment Administer and support Windows Server (2019–2022), including: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy File Services / DFS Lead troubleshooting and resolution of branch outages (ISP, VPN, voice), ensuring timely service restoration Monitor infrastructure and respond to alerts (including after‑hours) Manage vendors, ISPs, and service providers Perform patching and upgrades of systems Maintain enterprise backup, DR, and storage platforms Participate in scheduled on‑call rotation and off‑hours support Maintain technical documentation Assist with infrastructure projects, migrations, and acquisitions Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure, processes, and standards Required Qualifications 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience Hands‑on experience with: Cisco network infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless), including experience with VPN technologies such as DMVPN and IPsec tunnels Palo Alto firewalls Microsoft365 / Azure / Entra / MS Teams Phones Windows Servers (2019–2022) Hyper‑V Virtualization Experience supporting multi‑site environments Experience working with ISPs and troubleshooting connectivity issues Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills Key Competencies Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication with both technical and non‑technical users Ownership mindset for incidents and systems Ability to prioritize during outages and incidents Addus provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
