Senior Electrical Engineer (Indianapolis)

I’m recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and support electrical control systems for Heavy Equipment Manufacturer.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys designing systems, troubleshooting equipment, and working closely with engineering, production, and service teams.
What you’ll do:
- Design and maintain 12V/24V electrical control systems
- Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical failures and identify root causes
- Support production, testing, commissioning, and field service
- Assist with controller programming and new product development
- Improve equipment reliability and performance
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of electrical design experience
- Experience with 12V/24V systems and mobile, heavy, or industrial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to create electrical schematics
- Understanding of electro-hydraulic controls
CAN Bus diagnostics, CODESYS or similar programming, and an electrical engineering or engineering technology degree are highly preferred.
