HVAC Install HelperAbacus is currently seeking HVAC Install Helpers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Install Helpers perform basic HVAC tasks, assist our experienced HVAC Installers, and provide exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. The position will provide on the job training and learning while requiring adherence to workplace procedures, following health and safety guidance, and successfully completing tasks to help you gain further HVAC licenses/certifications.What Will I Do?Assist installation of all brands and types of HVAC unitsDiagnose issues, replace parts and perform preventative maintenanceTransfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areasPerforming start-up of equipmentAdjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand or power toolsCommunicating efficiently with management, dispatch, and the customer to ensure overall success of the companyKeeping accurate invoices and time sheetsClean or lubricate vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipmentMaintaining a clean, organized job site and inventoried truckDo I Have What It Takes?1-2 years working in the Residential HVAC Installation FieldKnowledge of HVAC codes and the ability to make on-the-job decisionsMust have EPA licenseRegistration as a technician with TDLR is requiredMechanical aptitudeAbility to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces and on roofsIntegrity and ability to promote a positive company imageProvide exceptional customer service while on the job siteAbility to perform physically demanding tasks on a daily basisResults driven in a high-energy environmentAttention to detailMust be able to follow directions and work independentlyWrench Group and its affiliates are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
