The role uses a wide range of trade skills to keep facilities safe and operational. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:Carpentry Work: Repair or install wooden structures and fixtures across park facilitiesPlumbing Tasks: Fix leaks, open drains, and maintain plumbing systems throughout the complexMasonry Projects: Build and repair concrete forms, walkways, walls, and building foundationsElectrical Repairs: Replace wiring, fixtures, and related components to keep systems functioning safelyEquipment Operation: Operate vehicles and machinery to support daily maintenance activitiesLandscape Care: Maintain turf, trails, and outdoor areas through mowing, pruning, and general upkeepInterested in learning more? Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orFour years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.Special Requirement:This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.Other Requirements:PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Completing the application, including all supplemental questions, serves as your exam for this position.
