About the Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU/IMCU provides comprehensive care to critically ill and step-down patients in a mixed-acuity unit. This role requires strong clinical judgment to manage both intensive care patients and those transitioning from critical care, ensuring continuity and high-quality outcomes.

Unit Details:

• Mixed-acuity unit:
  • 10 ICU beds
  • 22 IMCU (Intermediate Care) beds
• Exposure to both critical care and step-down patient populations

Note: No local candidates within a 50-mile radius to the facility location

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (GA or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Required certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA
• Preferred certification:
  • CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
