Assembler Position in Freeport, Illinois
Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as an assembler to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you will assemble drinking fountains, bottle-filling stations, and water coolers by following work instructions and quality standards to help produce products used by people around the world.
Responsibilities of the Assembler:
- Assemble components and products according to written and verbal work instructions.
- Build multiple models by completing assigned tasks at designated workstations.
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Work independently and as part of a larger team to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Assembler Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal work instructions.
- Ability to adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay for assembler: $18.50/hour.

Type: 1st Shift, Full-time.
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm. Overtime as needed, including weekdays until 4:30pm and occasional Saturdays from 6:00am – 11:00am.
