MLB Embedded S/W Engineer Asc - Early Career - Orlando, FL

Job Overview You will be a Software Engineer Asc on our team at Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a leading designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems. This role focuses on embedded and desktop software development for multi‑core systems, sensor emulation, and countermeasure applications. Responsibilities Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications. Perform requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and integration for embedded multi‑core systems as well as desktop applications that emulate sensors and countermeasures. Leverage experience in C/C++, GUI development, and Linux operating systems. Basic Qualifications Must be or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related software discipline. Demonstrated software development experience in C/C++. Ability to obtain a DoD clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen. Desired Skills Software configuration management. Full software life‑cycle development. Prior software development internships. Software integration and debugging techniques. Familiarity with Agile practices. Location & Work Schedule Position is onsite in Orlando, Florida. The work schedule consists of 4×10‑hour days with 3 days off per week. Flexibility options are available within a standard 40‑hour week. Security Clearance This position requires a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, with company‑sponsored interim clearance at the start of employment.
