Description: Position Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to monitor Gifthealth's financial status, review partner invoicing, and manage accounting transactions. This position plays a key role in supporting the Finance team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards. Gifthealth is on a mission to bring an easier, more affordable pharmacy experience to patients and providers around the country, and this role helps ensure the internal team and every patient, partner, and customer is met with excellence.

• Provide accounting and clerical support to management
• Track payments to internal and external stakeholders.
• Enter and approve vendor invoices.
• Assist in tracking and enforcing company purchasing and approval policies.
• Assist in completing and submitting sales tax and other required filings.
• Assist in the monthly close and reporting process as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems.
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

• Education : High School Diploma
• Licensure/Certification : Not required.
• Experience : Prior work experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant or in a similar role.
• Skills :
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with Acumatica, Ramp, and Paylocity.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.

• Location : Remote
• Schedule : Full-time; standard business hours.
• May require flexibility around monthly close, tax filing deadlines, and other time-sensitive accounting cycles.
• Regular meetings with the Finance team and internal/external stakeholders to ensure alignment.

• Must be able to sit or work at a computer workstation for extended periods while managing accounting systems, spreadsheets, and reporting.
• Must be able to meet recurring monthly close, filing, and reporting deadlines with accuracy.
• Must be able to maintain accurate, well-organized financial records and filing systems.
• Must be able to work hybrid, with reliable connectivity to support vendor, partner, and internal stakeholder coordination.
