Removal Defense Associate Attorney

Job Description As our new Associate Attorney, you will handle critical aspects of removal defense immigration law and general affirmative filings. Your role will extend to dynamic representation in immigration courts, handling everything from Master hearings to merits hearings. In addition you will practice law and mentor and lead, providing training and oversight to our skilled team of paralegals and legal assistants. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive legal strategies for a diverse clientele. Supervise and enhance the legal work product of paralegals and legal assistants. Represent the firm and its clients in court and at USCIS interviews, demonstrating exceptional advocacy and negotiation skills. Maintain rigorous standards of professionalism and confidentiality in all communications and duties. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities Bilingual abilities in Spanish preferred to handle client interactions effectively. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent research and time management skills. Detail oriented. Able to exercise good judgment. Ability to maintain confidentiality. High level of MS Office Suite/Google Suite, including Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc. Education/Experience JD from an accredited university. Must have a valid license and current membership in the bar of any U.S. state. Legal experience as a licensed attorney. Some litigation and supervisory experience a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
