The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies. He/she is responsible for maintaining practice standards, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring quality nursing services. Qualifications Include Graduate from an accredited nursing school; bachelor's degree preferred New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred Current Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification required Additional certifications vary by specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and others, with certain certifications required within specified timeframes.
