Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Monday – Friday with weekend rotation and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neurological Medical Surgical / Telemetry inpatient setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care experience in Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry within the last 3 years
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must pass a Telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with cardiac interpretation and telemetry monitoring in both adult and pediatric populations
