In this role, you will be at the forefront of identifying and resolving complex financial discrepancies, directly contributing to millions in cost savings and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Your expertise will be crucial in mitigating financial risks and optimizing purchasing processes across our extensive supply chain. What You’ll Do Conduct in-depth financial analysis of supplier contracts to identify errors, discrepancies, and recovery opportunities. Provide high-quality audit results and communicate findings effectively to purchasing teams. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including purchasing, finance, technical accounting, and engineering, to review audit outcomes and strategize recovery approaches. Support purchasing in negotiations with suppliers to resolve contract issues and recover overpayments. Manage and drive the timely closure of open audits and the collection of identified overpayments. Monitor and achieve targets for key performance indicators such as contract touch rate, study aging, and cost recoveries. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special studies as requested by leadership. Contribute to the identification and collection of significant annual supplier cost recoveries, targeting at least $4M. Utilize global systems to perform financial analysis and support investigations into pricing errors. Analyze ad-hoc reports to identify trends and potential issues. Interface with various organizational levels to discuss cases and reconcile differences between internal purchasing systems and supplier contracts. What You’ll Bring Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and auditing. Proven ability to analyze complex contracts and identify financial discrepancies. Experience with cost recovery efforts and driving financial resolution. Strong analytical, mathematical, and logical problem‑solving skills, as evidenced by a technical assessment. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams. Proficiency in using global financial systems for data analysis and reporting. Exceptional communication skills to deliver high-quality audit results and interact with various internal and external stakeholders. Advanced Excel experience required.
