Dental Assistant (NJ X-Ray License Required)

R-Smile Dental Care is seeking a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing private practice in Sewell, NJ. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Take digital dental radiographs
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
• Educate patients on treatment and post-operative instructions
• Enter clinical notes and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix Ascend
• Assist with digital impressions and other modern dental technologies as needed
• Help create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Current NJ Dental Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) License required
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Experience with Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• CPR certification preferred
