Job Description

Matt Bowers Ford is seeking a high-level Automotive Service Technician to join our elite service team. We are looking for a professional who is ready to maximize their earning potential in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Job Type

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Rotating Saturdays

• No Sundays

Pay

$35.00 – $55.00 per hour.

• Pay rate is commensurate with Ford/ASE certifications, technical expertise, and production history.

Work Requirements

• Active Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.

• Ability to commute to Metairie, LA.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• Ownership of a professional, comprehensive set of tools.

• Previous dealership or high-volume shop experience required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, and drivability issues.

• Execute manufacturer recalls and warranty repairs to exacting Ford factory standards.

• Perform high-quality multi-point safety inspections and maintenance services.

• Provide clear, accurate, and professional documentation for all work performed.

• Maintain "Fixed Right First Time" standards to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.

• Utilize the latest diagnostic equipment (IDS/FDRS) in our state-of-the-art facility.

• Stay current on all Ford factory training and new model year certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as an Automotive Technician.

• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with a focus on precision.

• Self-motivated with a track record of high productivity.

• Team-player attitude with a commitment to shop safety.

• Ford or ASE certifications are highly preferred.
