Description What You'll Do

• Execute a variety of clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and othersadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, identify and resolve errors, and maintain lab instruments through regular calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, guide new staff or students, and uphold the highest laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, secure workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification from ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your tenure with us.
