Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Sr. Civil/Structural Designer to join our team.

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Port Arthur, TX

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements : Occasional site visits required

Essential Functions:

• Constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design.
• Development of design configurations associated with the various systems that apply.
• Providing comprehensive, efficient, and cost effective technical input into design.
• Preparation of detailed design drawings, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.
• Maintaining a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during project design.
• Review of drawings for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.
• Prepares and/or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.
• Capable of making site visits to help engineers gather field information.

Requirement s:

• Attention to Detail & High Accuracy.
• Knowledge & Experience with Civil & Structural design.
• Self-motivated, Organized, and Solution advocate.
• 7-12 years of experience.
• CADD/Drafting Degree or Certificate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

Experience Preferred:

• CAD Design Experience with any of the following software; Autodesk; Civil 3D, Advanced Steel or Plant 3D.
• Intern or previous experience in oil & gas industry.
• Structural, Civil or piping design.
• Develops an understanding of drawings for all disciplines.
• Develops an understanding of project responsibilities with respect to specific task deliverables.
• Develops an awareness of project schedule and budget.
