Dialysis Registered Nurse Full Time

Job Overview Dialysis Registered Nurse – Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts – Central Campus, Rochdale, MA. Responsibilities include developing and implementing patient care plans, administering dialysis therapy, and managing nursing care in compliance with clinical standards. Responsibilities Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting mission and values of Vibra Healthcare. Reviews all patients receiving dialysis therapy and assesses clinical status throughout treatment. Consistently assists team members in delivering acute hemodialysis utilizing established standards of care. Areas of practice include hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The provision of care includes direct care, delegation, and supervision of nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the RN role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships; utilizing professional skills; fulfilling hospital responsibilities; and developing clinical expertise per specialty. Required Skills Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required. Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire. Dialysis experience preferred, but not required. One (1) year of experience in Medical‑Surgical nursing, critical care or dialysis preferred. Will except nurse residency program as experience. Must be able to accurately interpret color test strips. Additional Qualifications/Skills Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred. Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
