Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Build new features and products with engineers across the company.
• Collaborate with Sales and Support to understand customer needs.
• Design and implement experiments to improve customer experiences.
• Own problems end to end across user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and metrics.
• Tune and polish features to a high degree of excellence.
• Lead multifunctional projects and contribute to Brex’s long-term technical vision.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience with modern frontend technologies and tools such as ES6+, React, TypeScript, and Webpack.
• Experience architecting, developing, and testing client-side code end to end.
• Experience developing client-facing software products.
• Ability to uphold high engineering standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, and operations specialists is a bonus.
• Experience with React Native for mobile, basic experience with design tools, strong writing skills, and a proactive approach are bonuses.
