Position Prime Healthcare - Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist Group-Nights 7 On/7 Off in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, MO. Overview St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join the hospitalist team as a night-time hospitalist practitioner. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an NP or PA hospitalist and be comfortable working autonomously without supervision. Candidates must be comfortable working in a collaborative practice agreement with supervising physicians. Responsibilities The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion, and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians, enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications. Key Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience working as NP Hospitalist Comfortable working autonomously Open ICU Nights only (7pm-7am) 12-hour shifts Full-time position Full menu of benefits Medical Malpractice insurance Education, Experience, Training MSN with specialization as an ARNP Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse BLS upon hire and maintain current One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner required Previous experience with electronic health record Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr Prime Healthcare
