Full‑Time/Regular Overview of Responsibilities Assists with leading and managing assigned branch for sales and service operations to ensure the financial objectives, strategic goals, and institutional growth are met in accordance with MSGCU’s policies and state and federal government regulations, and in alignment with our desired member experience. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Focus on providing high quality service to all members through a consistent approach to delivering the member experience that includes sales, services, member satisfaction, operational, and people management to build strong member relationships and deliver member‑centric solutions. Make good and timely decisions using sound rationale, available data, and relevant factors to ensure the overall effectiveness of the branch in alignment with the organization’s focus and direction. Participate in and support Business Development efforts, activities and events, to maintain key member groups and develop new relationships. Consistently take action on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm. Manage conflict situations by effectively using Crucial Conversations skills with minimal noise. Direct work for member‑facing team members (MSR and BSS) by providing clear direction, ensuring work aligns with branch objectives and the desired member experience. Demonstrate a systematic approach to distributing assignments and monitoring work. Delegate and empower team members to make decisions within their areas of responsibility and remove obstacles to get work done. Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments. Monitor the performance of the branch team, conduct regular sales meetings and observations, and use the Sales Leadership Strategies (SLS) approach for daily coaching. Work in collaboration with the Branch Manager on branch vision and direction; drive results toward development and implementation of tactics for the branch team to attain strategic targets, and assist with annual branch sales plan. Generate ideas and feedback from team members to increase sales effectiveness and enhance productivity and engagement. Assist with conducting branch audits on a periodic basis and prepare audit reports in accordance with security procedures. Communicate effectively by developing and delivering various forms of communication (written, verbal, presentation) that align with MSGCU’s philosophy, mission, and values. Facilitate discussions and actively listen to ensure a clear understanding of expectations, procedure updates, new products and initiatives. Drive engagement by influencing others and creating a healthy climate where team members are motivated to help the organization achieve its objectives. Develop talent by coaching others to build skills to meet career goals and the organization’s goals through mentoring, coaching, and relevant development opportunities. Assist Branch Sales Manager to build an effective team that applies diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals, engage team in the sales process and effective activities to achieve team and corporate goals. Gain the confidence and trust of others by modeling honesty, integrity, authenticity, and behaviors that align with organizational values. Make responsible choices and exemplify courage by stepping up to address difficult issues. Model self‑development by actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged, and exhibit self‑awareness by soliciting feedback and through reflection gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses. Apply feedback to personal development using both formal and informal development channels. Provide support, as necessary, for the broader Retail Services team to ensure excellent support for the organization. Education And Experience Requirements Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or other related field preferred. 3 years of related, progressively more responsible experience within a retail banking environment required. Supervisory experience preferred. Working Conditions Office and branch location environment with little discomfort from noise, extreme temperature, dust, or other factors. Occasionally required to travel throughout MSGCU's service area as business needs require. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, such as robbery. Receives detailed instructions and security procedures on an annual basis to minimize risk. This work involves sitting most of the time with brief periods of walking or standing and may occasionally require lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Base hourly pay begins at $54,627 /annually Team members in this role are eligible to earn incentives as part of our variable compensation plan Medical, dental and vision on your first day!
