Industrial Color is seeking a talented Senior Digital Designer with a strong background in prestige skincare, cosmetics and beauty advertising to support the Global Creative team of an established international beauty brand.

We are looking for a designer with exceptional visual taste, sophisticated design skills and a refined understanding of how to bring skincare, complexion and beauty products to life through compelling creative.

The ideal candidate has experience working with premium skincare, cosmetics or dermatologist-led beauty brands and understands the balance between beautiful imagery, product storytelling, ingredient science, efficacy messaging and commercial impact.

This role is primarily focused on digital creative across global campaigns, social media, e-commerce, paid media and email, with opportunities to contribute to print, PR packages and other physical brand experiences.

Experience using generative AI and image-generation tools within a professional creative workflow is a significant advantage. We are particularly interested in designers who embrace emerging technologies and understand how AI can enhance concept development, image creation and creative production without compromising quality or brand integrity.

We are especially interested in portfolios demonstrating sophisticated beauty art direction, exceptional typography, skincare and product imagery, textures, retouching and polished campaign execution.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Concept and design elevated creative for prestige skincare and beauty campaigns, product launches and ongoing brand storytelling.
• Develop visually compelling assets for social media, digital advertising, e-commerce, email, brand websites and other consumer-facing platforms.
• Create sophisticated product storytelling around skincare benefits, active ingredients, efficacy, complexion and visible results.
• Work with premium beauty photography, product imagery, skincare textures, swatches and retouching to produce polished, high-quality visual compositions.
• Translate global campaign concepts into cohesive, channel-specific creative across multiple platforms and consumer touchpoints.
• Contribute to print and physical creative, including direct mail, PR packages, event collateral and promotional materials.
• Create motion graphics, animated typography, GIFs and other lightweight digital animations.
• Apply strong typography, composition, color and layout skills to maintain a refined and consistent brand aesthetic.
• Use generative AI and image-generation tools to support concept development, visual exploration, image creation and efficient creative production.
• Evaluate, refine and integrate AI-generated imagery into finished creative, ensuring accuracy, visual consistency and premium execution.
• Collaborate with Global Creative, Marketing, Social, E-commerce, PR, Production and Development teams from initial briefing through final delivery.
• Prepare accurate, organized and production-ready digital and print assets.
• Review final creative, proofs and implemented assets to ensure quality and consistency.
• Apply an understanding of consumer behavior, digital platforms and campaign performance to improve engagement and conversion.
• Present creative concepts and design recommendations clearly to creative leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities and rounds of feedback while meeting fast-moving deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong professional design experience, preferably within prestige skincare, cosmetics, dermatological beauty, luxury beauty or a closely related consumer category.
• A portfolio demonstrating sophisticated beauty campaigns, digital design, product storytelling and exceptional visual execution.
• Excellent typography, composition, layout, visual storytelling and art direction skills.
• Strong aesthetic understanding of skincare photography, product textures, ingredient imagery, skin tones, beauty retouching and premium product presentation.
• Experience developing digital campaign assets across social, e-commerce, paid media, email and brand websites.
• Strong understanding of digital design systems, responsive layouts and platform-specific creative requirements.
• Ability to interpret creative direction and translate campaign concepts into thoughtful, polished and commercially effective design.
• Experience with print production, packaging-related collateral or physical brand materials is advantageous.
• Experience creating motion graphics and simple animated content.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and creative judgment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and across multiple teams.
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Communication Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

AI Creative Skills – Highly Desirable

Experience using generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly or similar platforms for beauty imagery, product visualization, concept development and creative production is a significant advantage .

We are particularly interested in designers who can combine strong traditional design and art direction skills with emerging AI capabilities to create sophisticated, high-quality beauty and skincare creative.

Candidates with hands-on experience integrating AI-generated imagery into professional campaigns, including image refinement, compositing and retouching, will be especially appealing.

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Advanced image editing, compositing, retouching and color correction skills.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with After Effects for motion graphics and lightweight animation.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney or equivalent platforms is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of digital production requirements across social, e-commerce, paid media and responsive environments.
• Working knowledge of print production, file preparation and production specifications.
• Premiere Pro experience is a plus.

Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.

This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility to work in-office and remotely. Evening or weekend work may occasionally be required during major projects.
