Assistant Manager – Retail, Abingdon Salary: £29,000 – £30,000 per annum + bonus and benefits. Benefits No late‑night trades – short weekend trade hours. Key Responsibilities Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure optimal store performance. Foster a high standard of customer service among team members. Train, mentor, and coach staff, encouraging skill development and career advancement. Monitor store performance and provide regular reports to senior management. Network and post on store social media to maximise sales and footfall. Generate new customers through word‑of‑mouth, local marketing, events, and product demonstration. Set objectives, conduct coaching, personal development plans and appraisals for staff. What We’re Looking For Proven retail experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar role. A track record of managing KPIs and budgets to enhance store performance. A confident leader who can motivate and inspire a team. A people‑oriented candidate who enjoys retail sales and service environments. Experience within the fashion, beauty, footwear, or accessory sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
