Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is pleased to announce the following available position:The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Duties include:Assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing careAdminister and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physicianEnsure safety and provide consistent therapeutic milieu management and crisis intervention strategiesProvides direct care to patients on assigned unitAdministers and documents prescribed medications and treatmentsEstablishes therapeutic rapport with the patient, provides support and utilizes approved crisis intervention techniquesAvailable Schedules:Day: 7:00am to 7:30pmNight: 7:00pm to 7:30amQualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.
