In this role, the qualified candidate will perform Laser Inspection in support of product conformance and generate the required inspection data packages. Work with Customer Representatives (source inspectors) in presenting / verifying conformance prior to delivery. Assist manufacturing in verifying assembly. The Laser inspector shall contribute to product conformity as apart to their daily job function and shall contribute to product safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Proficiency of Metrology methods for aerospace industry to ensure quality assurance

· Generate inspection reports.

· Perform Laser/ mechanical and visual inspection on product utilizing both engineering data and electronic models.

· Present product and data packages to Customer source inspectors.

· Work with Production to support inspection schedules.

· Any other duties as assigned.

· Must understand how customer products are impacted in the event of failure

KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

· Must be detail oriented, extremely organized, must possess excellent communication skills.

· Must have excellent blue print/ Model interpretation skills.

· Must have working knowledge of Customer requirements / specifications.

· Must have working knowledge of Master Cam & VERISURF software.

· Must have working knowledge of Laser equipment utilizing VERISURF.

· Must have working knowledge of Catia modeling software.

· Must have direct communication with internal customers.

· Must be trained of applicable changes & customer requirements.

· Must know the QMS basic system of reporting, record keeping and follow instructions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school graduate or equivalent in work experience.

• Three (3) + years' experience in inspecting machine parts and assemblies using including LASER Technology & Practices.

• Three (3) + years’ experience using Laser Inspection.

• Three (3) + years' experience working with Customer Source Inspectors.

ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
