Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Foreman to lead day-to-day field operations on our commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing crews, coordinating project logistics, maintaining schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is both a strong leader and an experienced tradesperson - someone who can confidently manage field operations while also stepping into the work alongside their team when needed. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to drive productivity and maintain a positive jobsite culture. As a key on-site leader, the Project Foreman will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to keep projects moving forward successfully from start to finish. - Supervise, coordinate, and support a team of electricians and apprentices on job sites
- Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project timelines
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Enforce safety standards and promote a strong safety culture on site
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance
- Track labor hours, materials, and job progress; report updates as needed
- Assist with material planning, ordering, and inventory control
- Train and mentor apprentices and less experienced electricians
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (as required by state/local regulations)
- 8-10+ years' electrical experience, including supervisory and/or lead experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoor conditions)
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
- Commercial, industrial, and/or residential job sites
- May require travel between job locations
- Overtime and flexible hours may be required based on project needs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Compliance with RME's drug free and safety policies
