Seeking General Surgeon to join multi-specialty provider group in beautiful Nevada County, CA

Dignity Health Medical Group - Sierra Nevada is a multi-specialty medical group in Grass Valley, CA. We are a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation and aligned with Dignity Health, the largest hospital provider in California. We are recruiting a General Surgeon to join our group in Grass Valley, CA, in providing both hospital call coverage and an elective practice.

Highlights:

• 8-14 call days per month
• Typical schedule includes 2 clinic days and 2 OR days per week
• Interest in building a program from scratch
• Block time at SNMH plus Surgery Center availability

Compensation

• Salary Guarantee: $414,000 - $513,000/year plus call pay 
• Productivity Incentive
• Signing Incentive up to $40,000
• Relocation incentive up to $20,000
• Group-paid medical and dental insurance option (including group contribution to HSA account) or choose a "buy-up" plan. 
• 8 weeks t ime off per year
• Company 401k match/contribution of up to 11% of salary
• Good schools, affordable real estate, amazing outdoor recreation, easy access to Sacramento, San Francisco, northern CA coast, and Oregon

Job Requirements

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license
• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
