Rate: $60-$65 per hour

Overview
Seeking an experienced leader to manage document control and information management for large-scale projects, with Hexagon SDx (HxGN SDx) as the system of record. This role oversees the full information lifecycle from project execution through turnover and operations while leading a high-performing team.



Key Responsibilities

• Lead document control operations (intake, indexing, metadata, revision control, transmittals, retention)
• Serve as Hexagon SDx SME (workflows, governance, reporting, user support)
• Manage and develop Document Control team
• Drive EDMS migration and SDx adoption
• Establish standards, procedures, and data quality controls
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely information flow
• Track KPIs (cycle time, backlog, data quality, compliance)
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and continuous process improvement

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in document control/information management (EPC, energy, or capital projects)
• Proven team leadership experience
• Mandatory Hexagon SDx expertise:
  • 5+ years hands-on experience OR
  • 3+ years as Super User (preferred)
• Strong experience in workflow design, governance, and system ownership
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

• EDMS migration experience (e.g., Omega365/PIMS to SDx)
• Turnover/operations readiness (DFO) experience
• Background improving or building document control functions
