Job Description

Foster Care Caseworker Supervisor Needed Immediately in Peoria, IL: $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS!!!! NEW! This position involves providing direct oversight and supervision of casework services to children and families involved with the foster care system and their foster families. This also includes coordinating services and communicating effectively with other treatment team members and external individuals and agencies. This position requires the flexibility to address issues as they arise and assist in emergencies or staff shortages, as well as, the ability to complete the regular requirements and schedule.

– Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field

– LCPC or LCSW preferred

– Supervisory experience preferred and experience or other training preparing an individual to work with families and youth involved with DCFS

– Strong interpersonal skills

– Ability to organize and execute responsibilities in an independent manner

– Ability to physically transport self and clients to various locations

– Physical and emotional stamina to effectively handle job related issues and stress
