Position Overview

We are seeking a ServiceNow SPM Technical Consultant to design and develop Strategic Portfolio Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role spans Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Agile Development, and Investment Planning, with hands-on development, integration, and reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

• Design and develop ServiceNow SPM solutions based on business and functional requirements
• Configure and customize SPM modules: Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, Agile Development (Scrum/SAFe), and Investment Planning / Financial Management
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, and Flow Designer workflows
• Implement automation and approval workflows for project lifecycle and demand intake

Reporting & Integration

• Build and optimize dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics for portfolio tracking
• Develop integrations using REST and SOAP APIs and Integration Hub

Delivery

• Collaborate with functional consultants, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver solutions
• Support the end-to-end SDLC including design, development, testing, and deployment
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and governance
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge assets

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Active CSA and CIS certification
• Strong hands-on ServiceNow platform development experience
• Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting
• Experience implementing SPM/PPM modules in ServiceNow
• Solid understanding of project lifecycle, portfolio management, and agile methodologies
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server
• Understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management concepts
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in client-facing and global delivery environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional ServiceNow certifications: CAD (Certified Application Developer), CIS-SPM, CIS-APM
• Experience with Performance Analytics and advanced dashboards and reporting
• Experience with UI Builder and Service Portal
• Exposure to ITBM (legacy) to SPM migration projects
