Kitchen Team Member - Part-Time
MealMode | Sparks Glencoe, MD
Join MealMode as a Kitchen Team Member and be part of a family-rooted meal service company that has been serving nutritious and delicious meals since 1959. In this part-time role, you'll work in a dynamic kitchen environment, preparing meals that support schools and institutions across Maryland. Key Responsibilities
- Prep, portion, and package meals following MealMode recipes and CACFP guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safety compliant station.
- Primarily work out of Sparks Glencoe, with occasional shifts in Cockeysville and Reisterstown.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Supervisor and fellow Kitchen Associates to ensure smooth meal service operations.
Requirements
- Some food prep or kitchen experience (professional or serious home-cook welcome).
- Reliability for evening and weekend shifts.
- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards (ServSafe training provided if needed).
- Reliable transportation between locations.
- Must pass an extensive background check due to interaction with adults and minors.
Schedule
- Part-time, 20–25 hours per week maximum, with shifts primarily in the evenings and on weekends.
